It all happened by accident (these things always do). Someone offered me an illicit substance, and I didn't think I had anything to lose. It made me feel strange but good and full of energy. So it became a casual relief from this painful world, then it became a constant crutch to deal with all my problems. Now I realize there is no way back from the illusion I am now living.
